How to get there
Transfer from Prague airport to Brno
- Using train – first, take the bus called Airport Express (link) from the airport to the Prague main railway station. From this station it is possible to travel directly to Brno using many connections. To check the exact departures you can use this link. Before you buy a ticket, first check the company which provides the desired connection and then buy the ticket at the office of this company. If you are not sure what to buy, ask at an information desk.
- Using bus – it is possible to book a yellow bus (link) which goes from Prague airport to Brno with one change at the Prague main bus-station “Florenc”. It is necessary to book the ticket in advance, because it is not possible to buy the ticket in the bus. If you are interested, book the ticket from “Praha, RUZYNĚ (or Vaclav Havel), letiště – terminál 1” to “Brno, AN u hotelu Grand”.
Transfer from Brno main railway station to the Hotel Vista
- Using tram – take tram no. 1 to the station “Hudcova” (a direction to the station Reckovice). It is possible to buy the ticket inside the tram from a driver (which is more expensive) or in the yellow machines close to the station. In both cases, buy a ticket for 60 minutes for zones 100+101, which should cost 25 CZK (35 from a driver). As soon as you get there, follow the side street Hudcova uphill. After a few minutes you will reach the Hotel Vista which will be on the left side of the street. For better orientation check the map (link)
- Using taxi – taxis depart from near the bus and train stations. It takes up to 15 minutes. The price should not be more than 300 CZK.
