How to get there
Transfer from Prague airport to Brno
- Using train – first, take the bus called Airport Express (link) from the airport to the Prague main railway station. From this station it is possible to travel directly to Brno using many connections. To check the exact departures you can use link.
- Using bus – it is possible to book a yellow bus (link) which goes from Prague airport to Brno with one change at the Prague bus-station “Florenc”. It is necessary to book the ticket in advance, because it is not possible to buy the ticket in the bus. In case of interest, book the ticket from “Praha, RUZYNĚ, letiště – terminál 1” to “Brno, AN u hotelu Grand”.
Transfer from the Brno railwaystation to the Department of Telecommunications (BUT)
- Using tram – take tram no. 12 or 13 to the station “Technologický park” (a terminal station). It is possible to buy the ticket inside the tram from a driver (which is more expensive) or in the yellow machines close to the station. In both cases, buy a ticket for 60 minutes for zones 100+101, which should cost 22 CZK (30 from a driver).
- Using taxi – taxis depart from near the bus and train stations. It is about 7 km to the department, which should not exceed 300 CZK.
